I'm professor and
researcher in Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in the area of
sustainability engineering. UFRN is located in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do
Norte State, Brazil.
As researcher I
develop diferent initiatives searching discoveries about how to deal with the
consequences of climate change. My engagement is related to develop an
awareness about creative iniciatives that can be develop competencies to deal
with climate change.
I have had
developed actions working with rural communities and focusing in a integral
approach connecting creativity encouragement, sustainable construction and
entrepeneurship.
In the area of
Engineering of Sustainability I coordinate the Laboratory of Innovation in
Sustainable Construction (LICS) and the Center of Innovation and Sustainability
in Semiarid (CIIS).
In Brazil I have
developed and coordinate events in the area of sustainablity and climate
change. I have practice as a
conferencist have had did many lectures in international events.
In Brazil we are
developing a pool of projects in the sustainability area.
The state of Rio
Grande do Norte register the worst drough in the history. The pluviometric data
becomes to be measured a hundred years ago and 2015 was the worst year in the
timeline.
We search develop
some projects in the Brazilian semiarid region to collaborate to create new
competencies to deal with consequences of climate change.
