Startups, Business Innovation and the role of business schools - Julio Rezende

Innovation is only possible through business. Any innovation can only be supported by a business model that gives support. Because of this, business schools should be seen as important player to create a cycle of economic development.

Students should be encouraged to think about new types of business models. Maintaining a culture of entrepreneurship in universities should be encouraged.

Some recommended tools to be used to create entrepeneurship are business incubators, technology parks, contests startups and junior companies.

As a professor of business I attended some of these experiences and I can say that these tools can be very useful for dealing with the challenge of entrepreneurship.

Education, entrepreneurship and innovation are only a few effective resources to create wealth and prosperity for the economy and creating a better world!
